Manchester United vs Everton player ratings in another 4-0 win Premier League

Antonio Valencia celebrating his wonderful goal with his teammates

Manchester United played Everton on Sunday in the Premier League. Rooney was given a warm welcome at Old Trafford and left to a standing ovation, but it was Valencia that got fans on their feet when he scores a wonderful volley that kicked-off a United win that ended 4-0 thanks to the last 10 minutes goals by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Romelu Lukaku, and Anthony Martial.

MANCHESTER UNITED

1 David De Gea -7.5

He was not troubled much but came up with some very good saves when it matters.

Antonio Valencia -7

He problably scored the goal of the season, he had a good game.

Eric Bailly -7

Baily and Jones recover from the nightmare they endured last weekend against store by putting on a good performance. He m some excellent challenges.

Ashley Young -6.8

Reward by his great performance in the 3-0 win against Basel in the Champions League. Young did not put a foot wrong both on defence and offence.

Phill Jones - 7

Like Baily, Jones had a good game, he was on Rooney until the time he was subbed.

Marouane Fellaini -7

Replacing Paul Pogba, the big Fella did not wrong, he was very disciplined throughout the game.

Nemanja Matic -8.5

One could argue he is the signing of the same and showed that on Sunday.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan -7.5

Took his chance well to give United their 2nd goal.

Juan Mata -6.5

He hit the post from a free kick near the penalty area. Good link-up plays throughout the game.

Marcus Rashford -4

Just one of these days when nothing came off for him.

Romelu Lukaku 7.5

It's not often you would see him miss a one on one with a keeper as he did so in the first half, but he recovered by scoring against his former club.

SUBS: Martial -7 (for Mkhitaryan 88 minutes), Smalling, Lingard -6.5 ( for Rashford 65 minutes), Carrick, Herrera -7 ( for Mata 77 minutes) Carrick, Darmian

Manager: Jose Mourinho -8

EVERTON

Jordan Pickford - 5

Couldn't do anything for either goal, but he did make some good saves.

Ashley Williams -5.5

He gave the ball away in a dangerous area and he was punished for it.

Cuco Martina -6

He gave Everton some attacking threat on the right flank and that was about it.

Michael Keane -5

Probably his worst performance since he joined Everton.

Idrissa Gueye -5.5

Manchester United dominated the midfield battle so he really couldn't much.Morgan Scheindlin -6                                                                                                                                                               He gave a late penalty away, not sure if it was attentional or not.

Tom Davies -4.5

The youngster tried his best, but it wasn't enough, rough day at the office.

Leighton Baines -5.5

Manchester United did not give him a sniff chance to go forward so he had no impact on the game.

Gylfi Sigurdsson -5

He was very quiet

Wayne Rooney -6.5

He was perhaps Everton's best player on his return, but he misses two big chance and that cost his team.                                                                                                                                                         SUBS: Klassen, Mirallas -2 ( for Rooney 82nd minute), Stekelenburg, Sandro Ramirez -2 ( for Davies 66th minute), Holgate, Calvert-Lewin.

Manager: Ronald Koeman:

Referee: Andre Marriner - 7.5

MOTM: Nemanja Matic
